How badges and followed links work
Display our badge on your site to publish a free listing, and understand when your link is followed.

The badge on your shelf
Every listing can carry our badge—a small graphical marker that links back to the discovery page here. You choose its appearance (shape, tone, proportions) on your listing's badge page and paste the HTML code into your website. It points visitors directly to your listing.
Publishing a free listing
Free listings require the badge to go live. The founder profile has to be complete as well: a free listing waits for both. Our crawler will search your website for a link to your listing page; any badge design satisfies this. We check automatically every 7 days. If the badge vanishes, your listing returns to "waiting for badge" status and you receive notification by email. Replace it, and publication resumes without delay.
Link status: dofollow or nofollow
The badge starts as nofollow. Our system then evaluates your site in real time: it switches to dofollow if your Domain Rating (Ahrefs) reaches at least 20 and passes our spam checks. Otherwise it remains nofollow. Paid launches receive a dofollow link on the listing page; free listings receive nofollow.
Recognition badges
Awards—Launch of the Week, Launched, Verified—appear automatically when merited. These require no action from you. The Featured badge is different: it comes from a paid Featured period.
