What is the difference between subscription credits and top-up credits?

Subscription credits are included in your plan and reset at the start of each billing cycle with unused credits not rolling over. Top-up credits are purchased separately, never expire, and are used automatically once your monthly credits run out. On Teams workspaces, top-up credits are shared across all seats.

Do I own the images I generate?

On the Free plan, images are owned by Recraft and are publicly visible in the community gallery and not licensed for commercial use. On paid plans, you grant full ownership and commercial rights for all images generated while subscribed, which remain private and not shown in the community gallery. Images created during paid subscriptions remain your property even after cancellation.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel at any time by clicking your profile in the upper right, selecting Manage subscription, clicking Cancel plan and confirming. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Does Recraft offer an API?

Yes, the Recraft API provides programmatic access to image and vector generation, editing, background removal, inpainting, outpainting, batch jobs, and asynchronous processing. All models across V2, V3, V4 and V4.1 generations are available via the API.

What payment methods are accepted?

Recraft accepts credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
