About Communication & Collaboration

This is where new ways of working together get their first public outing. Chat tools, meeting rooms, shared documents and the odd piece of software for scattered teams all sit side by side, each on its own card, each made by someone who has only just finished building it.

Every listing here has one main category, chosen by the founder when it is submitted. Browse the page and you will see products from this category and from all four subcategories below, with filters to narrow the view. New arrivals come first by default. If you would rather see what people rate highly, sort by community votes, which cannot be bought. Take your time with the cards, open the ones that catch your eye, and note which ideas feel genuinely different from what your team already uses.

Communication & Collaboration: questions answered

What belongs in Communication & Collaboration?
Products whose main job is helping people talk, meet, share or work on things together. That covers messaging, video calls, remote-team tools and shared documents or wikis. If a product mainly does something else and merely has a chat panel, it probably belongs in another category.
How do I choose between the subcategories when listing?
Pick the one that describes the problem your product solves first. A tool for real-time conversation suits team chat, live calls suit video and meetings, and written knowledge suits documents and wikis. Remote work fits products built around distributed teams. You get one main category free.
Can my product appear in more than one category?
Yes. Your main category is included free. A paid upgrade adds up to 3 more categories for $5. This helps if your product genuinely spans, say, chat and documents, but we suggest only adding categories a visitor would expect to find you in.
How are products ordered on this page?
Newest listings appear first by default, so the page always shows what has just arrived. Visitors can switch to sorting by community votes instead. Votes can never be bought, so that order reflects what people actually liked rather than who paid for placement.
What should I compare when looking at tools here?
Start with how the tool fits the way your team already talks and writes. Check how easily people can join, how it handles things getting lost or buried, and whether the founder explains what it does clearly. A founder who puts a product forward checks and edits the profile first.
