How it started
Neil Lock is one of Zinn Hub's two co-founders, alongside Natalie Lock, and he leads it as CEO. He is also the developer who built the platform. Neil has more than 25 years of software, search and hosting work behind him.
Why it exists
Zinn Hub was built around one aim: freelancing that is fairer to sellers and to buyers. That means sellers who start at 0% commission and keep more of their earnings, and buyers who deal with vetted sellers and a team that answers.
What he built
Neil made language a non-issue: 46 languages across listings, briefs, messages and reviews, translated both ways, with live calls carried by captions or a spoken translated voice. Payouts are instant, through a seller's own Stripe or PayPal, with six payout methods including crypto. Sellers are vetted and KYC-verified, and payments made on the platform are protected by escrow. Buyers can post a project and let sellers pitch, or book a free Zinn® Concierge call in which Neil scopes the work with them and finds the right seller.
Milestones
365 Awards made Zinn Hub its UK Freelance Marketplace of the Year 2026, and Best of Best Review named it Best Multilingual Freelance Marketplace in the United Kingdom of 2026.
