How the leaderboards shape the edit

Three distinct rankings reveal what's gained traction, what's paid, and where domain authority stands.

Updated

Seen Here First maintains three leaderboards, each telling a different story about the launches on the shelf.

Community ranking

The Community board reflects pure discovery momentum. Launches climb by votes alone—a direct measure of what visitors here have responded to. This is the truest gauge of what's resonating across the edit.

The paid listing

The Billboard board shows launches ranked by money contributed, with a minimum of $5. Each paid position is clearly marked, so you know at a glance which have purchased prominence alongside their earned standing.

Domain authority

The Domain Rating board displays listings ranked by their Ahrefs Domain Rating. You'll see the direction of change—up, down, or stable—alongside the dates the rating was last checked and when it shifted. This offers a technical view of established authority.

Launch of the Week

Each week (Monday to Sunday, UTC), the top 3 launches by votes receive Launch of the Week badges. These are awarded automatically when the week closes. Winners receive email notification of their placement.

Questions people ask

What makes a launch rise on the Community board?
Votes from Seen Here First visitors. The more votes a launch receives, the higher it ranks. It's an unmediated reflection of discovery interest on this site.
How do Launch of the Week badges work?
The 3 most-voted launches each week (Monday to Sunday, UTC) earn badges automatically. You'll be emailed when your launch wins.
Is the Billboard board different from Community ranking?
Yes. Billboard shows launches ranked by contribution amount (minimum $5), and each is labelled as paid. Community is votes only.
